Barbara Boxer Visits Monterey

Recently, Senator Barbara Boxer visited Monterey, and while she was here, she made an appearance at the Monterey County C4C. Waiting for her there were many of Monterey County's elected officials including Reprsentative Sam Farr, Assemblymember Bill Monning, a number of local mayors, civic and labor leaders and about fifty supporters which filled the C4C to capacity.

As Senator Boxer entered the room she seemed jovial and energetic yet approachable. When the handshaking was over, and once she made it to the podium to speak, the Senator showed that she understands the issues facing Californians. She knows it's about jobs; good jobs that move our workforce into the future. She knows it's about clean energy that modernizes our technologies and positions us to be competitive in the 21st century economy.
