About Us:

CitizenNewscaster.com is a creative endeavor intended to connect the online media landscape to the local community. Though the site is produced and maintained by Timothy Barrett, CitizenNewscaster is continually seeking community partnerships and has been fortunate to have relations with a number creative individuals and civic organizations including Public Access Media. CitizenNewscaster is proud that this programming can be seen weekly on Access Monterey Peninsula, Channel 24 as well as a number of other central coast Public Access Stations.

CitizenNewscaster.com is also a trade marked news gathering and dissemination organization. One of our primary goals is to seek out the wealth of knowledge and wisdom that exists within our many communities on issues of local, national and international importance. In doing so, we hope to amplify the wise voices of people who have been disenfranchised by traditional media outlets, and therefore closed out of wide participation in public discourse. Our tools encompass digital media in the form of streaming radio, video production, and print.
